About

I was born to two Cuban immigrants and raised in Philadelphia. Growing up between those two worlds shaped how I think about what gets built, and who it’s built for. Today I study computer science at Trinity College Dublin.

I’m the co-founder and CEO of Lockup, where one code puts every phone in the room away, and a founding engineer at AVIOM, a Dublin startup building AI-native safety and compliance for construction. I’m also a path planning engineer on Formula Trinity, Trinity’s autonomous racing team.

Outside of computer science I am also very interested in books, music, football, and debate. I write about what I am learning or believe needs more attention. I play guitar and listen to a variety of music such as jazz, afrobeats, reggaeton, and of course rap; you can see some of my favorites below. I play 5 aside football and kickaround with friends. I am also an active member of the University Philosophical Society and take part in debate. I do my best to ensure I am well rounded as I believe it gives a stronger outlook on life and how I approach problems.
